Evergreen Central: Building Epic Riding at Squilchuck State Park

Bryan Rivard Jan 28, 2016

Evergreen has dozens of projects happening around the state, which isn’t that hard to believe when you consider how driven our members are. One particularly exciting project is underway right now (and has been for some time) in the Evergreen Central area: Squilchuk State Park. Squilchuk offers an amazing opportunity for skillbuilding, closeby riding, and much more with its progressive design and stacked loop system.

You may also remember hearing about Squilchuk late last year from a post we had on uber-volunteer Matt Rose (who uses his own excavator to build trail). That’s the level of commitment involved in this project. Check out the video about Squilchuk State Park below from Wojcik Films, and set aside some time to check it out the next time you’re in the area!
