Privacy Policy
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance ("Evergreen," "we," "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We collect only the information needed to provide membership services, process donations, and communicate with our community. We do not sell personal data.
Information We Collect
- Account information: Name, email, mailing address, and phone number when you join or register.
- Payment information: Processed by our payment processor; Evergreen does not store card numbers.
- Program registration: Information provided when signing up for classes, camps, or events.
- Volunteer records: Hours logged and waivers signed.
- Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To manage your membership and process renewals.
- To send program updates, newsletters, and event notifications (you may unsubscribe at any time).
- To issue tax receipts for donations.
- To fulfill legal obligations (tax filings, insurance, etc.).
Sharing
We share your information only with service providers necessary to operate our programs (payment processors, email platforms, insurance providers). We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Chapter communications may be shared within your regional chapter only.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing info@evergreenmtb.org. Deleting your data may affect your ability to use member services.
