Event Waiver &
Media Release
Assumption of Risk
Mountain biking and trail maintenance are inherently risky activities. By participating in any Evergreen event or program, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this waiver and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury, death, and property loss or damage.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate, you (and your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns) release and discharge Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and employees from any and all claims, damages, or causes of action arising from participation in Evergreen activities.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evergreen MTB Alliance from any claims, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your participation or from any violation of this agreement.
Media Release
You grant Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance the right to photograph and/or film your participation in Evergreen events and to use such images and footage for educational, promotional, and fundraising purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, newsletters, and grant applications. No compensation will be paid for such use.
Medical Authorization
In case of medical emergency arising from participation in Evergreen activities, you authorize Evergreen staff and volunteers to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on your behalf if you are unable to do so.
Minor Participants
For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver at registration. Youth camp and clinic registrations include a separate minor participant waiver form.
